As of tomorrow, my mother leaves the hospital after her last round of chemotherapy... I think I know where I get my resilience from. First the crippling strokes, then the inoperable aneurysm, and now surviving a form of cancer that pervades the whole body. She's a tough old bird. I offered her my hair if she wants a wig, but she passed. ...I was relieved about that too.
