So last night was BLOODY AWESOME! Went to see Lennon at McGuffy's in Dayton... after painfully enduring the earlier acts, finally the band came onstage, and blew me away!
For some reason the pictures of Lennon on the site do NOT do her justice. She's completely lovely, has a great stage presence, a wonderful singinging voice, and a really cool attitude. I got her and the band to sign the back of my ticket. Hells yeah!
Then we went to Kellyjanice's house for a sleepover. Micah, PunkNiteMike, NicoleLee, Vectrexxx, and I hung out, watched part of a movie, and in general had fun.
We went to COSI and had a blast! CutMeUp, PunkNiteMike, kellyjanice and her fiancee Micah, and I walked around the various exhibits, and they were great! The space room had this REALLY trippy entrance. The outside area was great, I lifted a car with a pulley, on its hardest section! Between that and the pulleys for lifting YOURSELF up in the air, my hands are rope burned all to hell. The ocean exhibit was also fun.
Outland was great! Between meeting the LOVELY Alisa, and a bunch of other SG people, I also got my first chance at administering corporal punishment publicly, I had one HELL of an electric play session administered on me, my gamer group showed up and we went out to Hounddogs afterward, I had several independent friends show up as well, and I wound up going to a very nice park in Gahanna with my friend Kristen (no, it's not like that, Ghosty
)! I was so busy, yet I was SO happy!
Everyone, you gave me the best weekend I've had in a LONG time, and at just the time I needed it too. Thanks you, from the bottom of my heart and soul.
