Just a little more push...
My store is almost fully operational. I've gone though about 4500 of the 5000 pieces of stock I got in a few days ago... what a nasty job it's been. BUT I've already led the district in sales for a few days, so it's looking like this has some real potential. Being a manager is interesting, to be sure. Whenever I get overwhelmed, I grab some posters from the back room and decorate the store. Lets me blow off some steam.
Just hoping for a couple days off soon, I've worked every day since I opened the store, on the first, and I'm starting to get burnt out a bit.
I'm hoping to visit California in a month or so... go see some friends out there, and I've been dying to see the Pacific Ocean since I was a kid. Here's to hoping.
