This last week has been tough.
I am usually up for a good challenge, but this week has been exceptionally rough.
I have been trying to nurse an injury to my foot/leg and the pain has made it hard to focus. Of course I am absurdly stubborn and have been trying to work through the pain as much as humanly possible.
I have a model who has been patient, sweet and understanding, but I am a very goal orientated person and I absolutely hate having unfinished projects lurking over head. I would like to thank @kanvus for her empathy and good nature.
I would also like to thank my good friend @obsidian who has helped me through when this injury was fresh and scary. I probably would have done more damage to the muscle tissue without your assistance. So you are significant proof that not all heroes wear capes.
I don't even think words could describe how frightening it was to have your muscle snap and turn to mush. The pain was unbearable and when you cant lift your own body weight up it makes you wonder if this is what life is going to be like from now on. Just dreadful.
I can see that I am healing at rapid pace, so that is exciting. I am already walking around and every day I try to thank the universe for my healing and be appreciative of all the good I currently have in my life. Keeping a positive mindset has been difficult but super beneficial.
To get through this I have massaged my muscles daily, light stretch physio, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (which is huge because I despise taking pills). I have even gone as far as purchasing a memory foam foot stool for better support, and I also embraced my inner diva and purchased a foot bath with foamy jets. These items have all assisted with my road to recovery.
I am gonna try to get some editing done tonight, wish me luck.
