And now there are two new cats in the house . Kenny is the younger one , he's about 8 or so months old & a real ball of fire . He's already given me more laughs in the few weeks we've had him then I probably had all last year . The newer & older of the two is Brok . Brok is a yellow tabby & probably about 1 1/2 years old . He also has the most wonderful feeling fur I've ever petted on a cat . It's just so soft & thick , but he's not a long hair . He has a thick , muscular build , but is very laid back & not much for confrontations . As such he's a bit leery of our dog . They've gotten better since we first got him about a month ago , but Brok mainly just stays away from Strider . And Strider is too old to jump up & chase anyone . Kenny on the other hand likes Stri quite a bit . He's rubbed up against him like cats do , & let Stri sniff him to his hearts content . Which is all Stri ever wants to do anyway . Brok is a real " on my time frame " kind of cat . You cat pet him when he feels like it , play when he feels like it , you get the picture . But he is friendly & does love a good rub down , when he's in the mood . Kenny is more a typical crazy kitten . He's all love & energy unless he's in play mode . Then you have to watch out for him grabbing your hand & gnawing away . Needless to say , we're trying to end that habit .
Sorry it's been so long since I've been active here . I've been a bit hit & miss with some of my meds & haven't felt like communicating much . But now I'm back with what will hopefully be a more steady supply of pills . My insurance insisted that I get my pills through them in the mail , & I wasn't thrilled about it so I went without some pills for a brief period . But I have given in & am now doing just that . And they already messed them up in a way . I'm supposed to take 2 20mg paxils a day , but the bottle they sent is only good for one . Idiots abound !
