This is bound to not be the happiest blog from me . Yesterday we had to put my cat to sleep . He was around 20 years old , so he had a good long life . I've been with my GF for about 10 years , so I got to spend about half his life with him . When the GF & I got together , she had 3 cats . Elvis was the oldest & he left us last year . Coop was second oldest & he basically adopted me . He would follow me all over the house , keeping me company where ever I was . I've never had a bond with a pet as strong as my one with Cooper was . And while I kept it together pretty well yesterday , I know one of these nights when I'm looking for him to come to bed with me I will probably lose it . He was more than a pet to me , he really was one of my best friends .
