And then there were three . We had our oldest cat put down yesterday . Elvis was 19 , so it's not like he didn't have a good , full life . It also doesn't make it any easier . Elvis was pretty much my GF's cat . He used to get down in her shirt & just lay there . She called him her kangaroo kitten . Lately , he'd pretty much wait for her to get back from work & get back in bed with him . He was a tiny cat with a huge meow . I am not looking forward at all to when Cooper goes . He's next in line age wise & is probably in the worst physical shape of the remaining animals . He's on pain meds for his arthritis . We've pretty much decided that as long as he's not in pain , we'll let him live . We both hate the idea of just keeping them alive out of our own greedy need .
So anyway , I hope you're all having a nice weekend . Hate to be a bummer , but it's hard . I'm trying to be the strong one here , so I don't really have a chance to let it out myself .

Sorry to hear about your cats. It's really sad. He was a lucky kitty because he had 19 good years....almost as many bad years as I've had.
