Another pretty damn nice weekend comes to a close ( I took today off 
) . We spent Saturday here ...

Knobel's is a pretty nice amusement park in the middle of no where . Really . But , free parking , you buy a ticket & honestly don't have to spend one more dime , lots of shade & places to sit . And best of all , 2 of the best wooden roller coasters in the country . And I did get to spend some quality time with them . And the log flume .
So now I'm sitting here , nursing a McEwan's Scotch Ale , pondering what tomorrow will bring at work . Blah . Friday was very exciting , as they screwed up everyone's pay . They basically sent the pay , then withdrew it & about another days extra pay ! Needless to say , there were a few angry folks at work Friday . I stayed fairly calm ( for a change ) . Our parent company is in Kansas , so it's not like anyone at our plant had anything to do with the fuck up . And by then end of the day , they told us that they were wiring the pay into our accounts with a different bank , & any over withdrawals would be compensated for . Which is a good thing as I not only got taken into negative space in my checking account by this fiasco , but I also bought gas first thing in the morning assuming the money was there .
I have a photo to add to mine from the park , but I don't know if it'll fit . I'll try it later . It's pretty funny .

Glad YOU had a good weekend...Everyone had a good weekend but me! Seriously, go look at all of the blogs I've commented in. Good weekends all around, except for Becca! Mine was uneventful, but I guess I should listen to your proverb and be thankful nothing bad happened. I suppose nothing at all is better than a tragedy.
