An enforced absence after my broadband connection went down. I reported it and my ISP said they'd get it checked out. I waited. 3 days later I called again. Blah blah the helpline, who said it had been reported to BT, but I wnet over everything I/we could think of with just to double check. All ok. I waited.

I didn't actually end up going as I was ill so Wrathchild ran it all. Went ok I've heard but I think it'll be one of the last. I've got another one organised for 12 March and then we'll see after that. It'll be a shame if the society goes down the pan but it's looking that way.

I stink. My clothes stink. I spent 2 hours tending a bonfire this afternoon. Wonder if one bath will be enough to get the smell off?

Assiuming anyone reading this admits to listening to that pop music stuff, what are your favourite songs of the last few months?

Mine are
'Real to me' - Bryan McFadden
'Caught in a moment' - The -aargh!- Sugababes.
Everybody's...

The night after Christmas.
Asleep.
Safe.
Comfortable.
In a distant place the Earth shrugged.

I don't know whether to be worried or not yet: I have a friend in Australia & another in New Zealand who may possibly have spent Christmas in the region the tsunami hit. One isn't due back to work till the 11th and the other is on a year out and...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How is everyone's head today
It was a great night last night, with some great people, in a great pub - which wasn't excessively crowded ; it's nice to be able to move around without a lot of bumping & shoving. I got home about 2.45am, slightly pissed and completely knackered.
Today has been quiet so far, which suits me. Hope I...

I've just drunk half a bottle of sickly-sweet ginger wine and eaten a 100g bar of Lindt Macadamia nut chocolate. My teeth are going to hell. Not to mention my cholesterol level. Tomorrow I'm off to, not hell - Leicester, till the 28th. If you're reading this and I haven't left a comment on your own page, have a great Christmas & (if necessary )...

The weekend .....

Saturday, a half-hearted attempt at Christmas shopping. Had planned on going to Kingston but decided to go to Guildford instead.
I love that town, especially at Christmas. Bought one item (I actually bought two gifts but I fancied having one of them myself ARRR!!! ). Had a very sticky cake in a coffee shop, made a phone call and made my phone sticky...

The weekend; The cheap Aussie red wine I bought earlier: 'Williams Grove' (2.66 from Morrisons) is the business. Absolutely delicious. No I'm not out this evening.

Earlier in the week I ordered 6 packets of tea from a supplier in the U.S, which I could have probably got in London. I really know how to fuckin' live. Go me. whatever

biggrin

confused well, i use mozilla 1.7, and it didn't seem to change with this update, but then I might have changed it automatically.
i'll check on my next update.
Your room sounds like my whole house..I am such a hoarder. blush but I am being very firm with myself this year and gradually throwing things out , or finding better places to store them, so gradually my house is starting to get some space.
Good luck with the bed hunting.
