Yesterday I made a trek into the West End to retreive my wallet from Tesco's Covent Garden, where I stupidly left it on the checkout counter on Saturday evening.
On Monday morning I got a call saying that they had it. Yay!
When I lose things they usually stay lost Everything inside was still there. I just have to await my new debit card and change my details on the standing orders I set up on it, which is a pain in the bum.

Earlier today I went to see War of the worlds. Not bad, though Tom Cruise was a little irritating, as were a couple of flaws in logic and some of the sound and special effects (though others were excellent). I would give it 7/10 overall though: it was entertaining, with a few scary bits. The machines were great.
I also took in some old transparencies I took at gigs years & years ago to be scanned onto CD.
I'm looking forward to seeing those but a little afraid they might ruin or lose them: 5 more days of tenterhooks for me
