So I'm pruning a tall rose next to a 5ft fence. A branch overhanging the neighbour's side was especially tough and I had to change my grip on the shears. As I relaxed my hand the branch sprang back and flicked them over the fence into the neighbours garden. I had to go round and ask for them. "Excuse me, can I have my secateurs back please?" blush surreal

Thsi Saturday's cd buying foray was a little better than last week's. a live double by The Damned, Zodiac Mindwarp's greatest hits, a cheap compilation of stuff by newer bands and some 60's & 70's pop singles. I was after Zodiac Mindwarp's studio albums but that was all I could find, & it's better than nothing. I'm not stuck in a retro rock time warp, it's just that there are so many bands I know I that I like but don't have and want to get. There is plenty of up-to-date stuff I like too, but often I know the songs but not the bands, and there is no point in possibly wasting money on a band without knowing that I like them first.
Those cds will keep me 'quiet' for a bit smile

Crap profile pic isn't it. I'll look for a better one.

Nothing's really been decided for the party yet, since my flatmates have reservations regarding the amount of people... I guess they freaked out when I said I could easily bring 30 to 40 people in...

So, logistically speaking, we might delay it for when it's less cold outside (since with have a terrace and that would be very handy if many people turn up...)

I'll keep you posted anyway & you're more than welcome when this happens smile
