A split day. Whilst still at my first job a I got a text from a friend asking if I wanted to meet for lunch. How could I refuse. return home and reschedule my afternoon garden for the morning (when you work for yourself you can do that). Race off there stoppiung only for two slices of toast & glass of apple juice. Race back. Into shower. Out of shower. Race out. Nice lunch & a couple of beers at the local 'Wetherspoons', the odd chuckle might have been heard. After, we visited the used bookstore nearby. whilst browsing my clumsy friend drops book down back of radiator (out of site of proprietor), we look at each other & snigger. People don't laugh like we did for no reason so I'm sure the owner knew something had happened. It was, I think, one of those 'you had to be there' moments but we leave the shop still trying to keep straight faces. At least she did buy something (A town like Alice, probably from guilt) Back to gardening very shortly, until dusk, but it's a warm dry evening & I have beer in the fridge for when i get back so I don't mind too much.

A stupid poem, can't remember where I read it or the name of the author

The God of war rode out to fight
Upon a snow white filly.
"I'm Thor!" he cried,
His horse replied:
"You forgot your thaddle, thilly.

I love the Secret Garden as well, and yes I really am trying to find new reading material so I won't be glued to the t.v. all the time. I love books featuring animals, they are generally so much fun to read.

Yeah, I am having a great day today. I can't wait til the client party tomorrow for all the clients at the Center they all work so hard just for those two days a year (the Xmas party and the Summer party).
