For dessert tonight I had strawberries and blueberries freshly picked from the back garden, which i am washing down with a bottle of almost frozen lager smile smile

The strawberries are taking over and will need sorting out ("Oi! Strawberries! NO!") when they've finished this year - but they are nice weeds to have around.

It's kittens. Again.

Fresh strawberries are fantastic! I remember last June when my dad was visiting me in London, we went to one of my fav places to eat lunch, The House, on Canonbury Road, and at the end of our meal, without us ordering any dessert, the chef sent out some fresh strawberries and cream; it was his first batch of strawberries and he'd just gotten them in that morning.

I wouldn't say they're my favourite, but when they're fresh, they're just so damn delicious
