Less than 2 weeks till Christmas. Better start shopping then.
I think this will be the last Christmas I spend at my present accom. - a number of reasons: none of a 'desperate' nature in themselves, but cumulatively...
A friend's brother offered me the garden flat he owns in Twickenham last year: I was unable to take his offer at the time but told him I would be interested in the future. He told me recently that his tenant may move out sometime next year and he will offer me first refusal if she does. The main potential problem is that my work is largely in the Wimbledon area and I will have to shed some of my work if I move as it will take too long to travel back here. Although I will have additional overheads the rent wiill be cheaper than I am paying at the moment for my room in a house which is pissing me off at the moment. I like Wimbledon and don't want to leave but on balance, taking the above and some other things into account this sounds quite attractive. We'll see.
