Co-tenants! mad

My theme was piched from Dylan 's journal

I still live in a house-share because I can't afford a flat round here (I like the area) and bedsits are depressing. There have been good and bad sharers in my time here (two with violent partners, and a testosterone-drenched rugger bugger who sleepwalked - then peed - wherever his walk took him, being the worst; and the seven I have stayed in touch with, four of whom are now good friends, being the best) but at the moment at least two of my four co-habitants are a pain in the backside - but I'm not entirely sure which ones.
Stuff being used (like my soap powder) and not replaced; spills, washing-up & general cleaning up & not doing their share to keep the place nice ... an attitude of: "Not my reponsibility'' comes into play. A whole roll of loo paper can go in a day but when it comes to getting more .......? Kitchen bin full? Don't replace the bag, leave it and attempt to cram yet more in. *sigh*
I tend to trust folk to use their commonsense and think of others but at the moment it is a misplaced ideal It would be better to have a general get-together & raise this stuff collectively without the chance that the wrong person would feel 'accused' by myself or the other girl (we regularly moan to each other about it) speaking to them individually, but everyone keeps different hours and I don't like the idea of leaving 'do' and 'don't' notes every other day (which haven't worked from past experience anyway)
It's not that I'm free of my own possibly bad habits but I do care about the house. These are not male students fresh from their parents (not that that is an excuse) but mid-to late 20's professional women. When others can't be bothered (& who they are is uncertain) there comes a point when the two of us who do clean up after ourselves don't see why we should clean up after the idlers as well. If it wasn't for the cleaner who visits fortnightly it would be worse. My resolution for next year: try (ie save) harder to rent my own flat or share with the friend who has mentioned doing it a couple of times in the past.

ah never mind. the media file was quite good - type in a sentence, and it constructs it as an audio file using samples of classic songs!

not sure who the avatar artist is - its the cover of one of my favourite books, STARMAKER by Olaf Stapledon. I'll find out though..

hmm it can be a nightmare when houe issues have to be raised. my advice, do it sooner rather than later otherwise it'll start eating you up inside..

Neither am I.

Flightplan and Mrs Henderson presents. As to how good they are, I'm not sure. My film judgement's been on a break for a bit. They both seemed okay. Not brilliant, not awful.
