I'm only going for a couple of weeks but I'm happy enough with that. Considering my longest holiday for the past 13 years was a week in the west coast of Scotland this should be a pretty amazing experience.

Did you edit your comment because you wrote 'pickled' the first time? You've got pickled cocks on the brain you have.

The tryst was lovely indeed. We walked across the Heath in the dark, had dinner in Hampstead, walked back, and took our time getting undressed. I modeled some new lingerie for him, and he was suitably appreciative. Very suitably.

Hey, Rubyrouge and I are planning some drinks next week some time, maybe Thursday, you in? (I don't want any SGUK'ers to think I am stepping outta line, just wanted to meet for some fun drinks!)

So I'm pruning a tall rose next to a 5ft fence. A branch overhanging the neighbour's side was especially tough and I had to change my grip on the shears. As I relaxed my hand the branch sprang back and flicked them over the fence into the neighbours garden. I had to go round and ask for them. "Excuse me, can I have my secateurs...

Nothing's really been decided for the party yet, since my flatmates have reservations regarding the amount of people... I guess they freaked out when I said I could easily bring 30 to 40 people in...

So, logistically speaking, we might delay it for when it's less cold outside (since with have a terrace and that would be very handy if many people turn up...)

I'll keep you posted anyway & you're more than welcome when this happens smile

try this then

So what topic should my next journal be about?
marieceleste:
Me!

No?

Oh ok then...

Noses, it should be about noses, and why that trick of stealing your nose seemed to be so convincing when you were a kid. bok

It's a complete waste of time my buying those 'two for the price of one' deals where cakes, biscuits & chocolate are involved. I just eat the bloody things twice as fast. frown

kinto:
haha I know the feeling biggrin

That's a tricky one - he says, thinking about his 2 Nutella jars... love

gig was great - Dead Pets really did the job, absolutely fantastic live band, really tight, exciting and entertaining!

Deadline were cool too, but for a supposed street punk/skinhead band with a girl singer, they sure sounded like Tsunami Bomb!

unfortunately, i ended the eve in a drunken stupour cos i drank a pint of stella by mistake. oops! eeek

Yesterday was a lost day on account of sampling different brands of rum at the funky munky on Fri night, where Brokenhouse and Pearlbass were DJ-ing. It was a good night, shame more folk couldn't make it out there though. I began to flag at around 12.30 & got the night bus(es) home via Aldwych (I think). Conveniently, as I got off the bus from...

Nopers no weeding out of the friends list just me not being able to stop by and say hi as often as I would like to.

Glad to see you back and thank you for the long nice post in my journal. I am a bit tired today, haven't gotten anywhere near enough sleep this week what with working and exercising later at night I get to bed around midnight if I am lucky and am up by 7 am the next morning. It's been crazy weird lately, I don't know why but seems as though there just is not enough time in the day for everything I have going on.
peggy:
I will keep that in mind.

It's 9.45, I've just got home and I'm knackered. I'm going back to bed for a couple of hours. Keep the noise down. Thanks smile

Thanks for the birthday message. I've hardly been here myself lately so don't worry about being lax. I'm the lax monster.

Hello. I'm back smile smile smile
An enforced absence after my broadband connection went down. I reported it and my ISP said they'd get it checked out. I waited. 3 days later I called again. Blah blah the helpline, who said it had been reported to BT, but I wnet over everything I/we could think of with just to double check. All ok. I waited.
A further 7...

I didn't actually end up going as I was ill so Wrathchild ran it all. Went ok I've heard but I think it'll be one of the last. I've got another one organised for 12 March and then we'll see after that. It'll be a shame if the society goes down the pan but it's looking that way.

I stink. My clothes stink. I spent 2 hours tending a bonfire this afternoon. Wonder if one bath will be enough to get the smell off?

Assiuming anyone reading this admits to listening to that pop music stuff, what are your favourite songs of the last few months?

Mine are
'Real to me' - Bryan McFadden
'Caught in a moment' - The -aargh!- Sugababes.
Everybody's...
