Ok tell me if you would be pissed.

I was at dinner with one of my sales guy's and two vendors tonight. Below is the list of characters and the conversation.

MIKE (V.P. of sales) gets a monthly bonus.
Me (S.E. = Systems Engineer) does not get a monthly bonus.
Dave (Vendor Salesman)
Trent (Salesman under Mike) gets a monthly bonus
Gino (V.P. of marketing, Mike's best friend) gets a monthly bonus.

Dave: Your salesman helped me make quota by making that 32thousand dollar sale.
Mike: Yeah so he won the contest?
Me: What contest?
Mike: Ahhh Never mind don't worry about it.
Dave: The one where the salesman that sales the most of our product gets $5000.00 cash and a vacation on us. His S.E. also gets $5000.00 cash and a vacation on us.
Mike: Uhhhmmm he signed Gino up as his S.E.
Me: Gino is marketing NOT an S.E.
Mike: he made a deal with Gino and had to follow thru.
