As we walk our life’s path, climbing mountains of struggle, through fields of joy passing by the beauty of sight our heart and eyes desire. Dark hardship valleys slowing our journey until reaching the inspiration of light that gives us strength to keep going. Swimming in the seas of love and loss. I will reach my destination, turn and look back smiling with wisdom to all my experiences. Remembering those that have passed by like the clouds and sun. Appreciating time as an old friend. Missing past loves as a child that has lost a favorite blanket. Looking at the foot prints of influence I have made along the way. I can only hope my traveled path was that of kindness, truth, and love.
