where is it going, what is it looking for?
it's blind, lost, rampant in it's searching
its stalks with uncontrollable intensity through a catacomb of steel, concrete and earth, it's heard turning and twisting sporadically, searching in to the dark corners or every opportunity
constantly seeking with its eyes, always smelling the air,
tasting it with a flicker of its tongue
it's dark mass presses forward, it searches everywhere for that which it desires, but with not a trace on the wind it moves forward.... onward...
it knows not what it is
it is not conscious of self, but only of the overwhelming need to find that for which it is searching, that which it requires, that which will bring about its end.
