well i get the house to myself again this weekend. and it is memorial day on monday wich means a four day week end for most. well most people dont care what this day stands for. they just care about barbqs and picnics and going to the lake and shit like that. i dig that stuff to but its really about the vets. im proud of those people that gave thier life and took a chance on what they believed in. you may not think like that today, in fact im pretty sure that 80 percent of the kids out there today could give a shit less about going into the service. it seems like people only go in if they have nothing else to do or are in deep shit and its the only chance they got. i was in the first gulf war so that makes me a vet, but it was nothing like whats going on today or what happend in veitnam or korea, wwII, or the other big fights. so i just want to say thanks, alot of people want to say your just a puppet in some politicians show but i really know what your doing. good luck to you all thanks for the past fights and come back safe. ARRR!!!

I hear you on memorial day man. I mean I'm not a big fan of the military as an ideal, But I am a great proponent of the soldiers. They are still heros. Every society is kept intact by those people who are willing to risk their safety and possibly even their lives to protect the values of their land against outside influence. It is the soldiers duty to protect us against threats from beyond. It is the citizens to protect us from threats within. Have you seen any pictures of the new WWII Monument in Washington yet. It looks really good, and the Vets seemed really proud of it.
