Obviously, church is not happening this time around. But I am nt annoyed by this. Quite frankly, the extra sleep was better, and much needed.
I went back to work this week. Fortunately, I popped in on Tuesday, because when I got to the office, I found out that I had been assigned another section...on Wednesday. So I'm earning an extra $165 each week for not a whole lot of extra work--the new section, an expansion, doesn't add another prep for me. Five sections, three classes. Not a problem.
I also sent off a draft of my prospectus to my committee. Two say they've received it. The other two probably have and just haven't gotten back to me. Or something like that.
Generally, then, things are going well. This week, I'll be working largely on my paper for the upcoming SCMLA conference. I know what I want to write and how to go about it. Now is just the doing of it.
That is pretty much ALWAYS the thing.
