Okay, I get it, we're sad as a world that Michael Jackson died. Never mind that his cultural relevance waned some fifteen years ago...but I suppose that he did do enough early on that he is worth remembering. But I think that the massive outpouring of grief is a bit much.
He wasn't really that imporant.
I did just read, though, that Billy Mays is dead. Add one more to the list of this week's kills.
I suppose I could also talk about Iran. Honestly, there's not much I can contribute to that, except to say that right now, the US needs to worry about its domestic concerns rather than getting tangled up in another external conflict we can't afford.
This has been a busy week. I've not been too concerned with keeping up with world events. But I have been keeping up with the work I'm doing, and that makes for a nice enough time...
