I already called Dad this morning, and I had sent a card a while back, so I'm covered on this one. I probably ought to give Uncle Puck a call, though; he'll miss it if I don't.
Sonya's family is out of town, now, so things can get back to normal. Of course, "normal" tends to mean a hell of a lot of work, but at least it'll be a hell of a lot of work without having to run around town as well.
Part of that work is going to be figuring out how Sonya and I are going to get down to the Hill Country over the Fourth of July. We have been waiting to see how our finances are going to look as we do it, because we have been running around. We'll also probably have to miss a bit of work to do this thing, and that is not entirely good. Certainly, my folks are important enough to miss a couple of hours' pay for, but that couple of hours represents a fair amount of sandwiches.
And I like sandwiches.
