It seems that I have missed quite a bit in the week since I last looked at this site.

The full-on crunchy goodness of the semester has set in. My students are beginning to turn in papers, and I am beginning to have to write them, which means I've got a hell of a lot of reading to take care of.

That's not a problem, though. I read the way most other people watch television or listen to music. I may have stated for the record here as I know I have elsewhere that I've spent more time reading than doing anything esle except possibly, and I'm not certain, sleeping.

So no, reading is not a problem.

That much of it is not really interesting reading, well,,,

I'm thinking that at the end of the year I'll be collecting all of my blog entries, on this and the others I maintain, and gathering them into something to see if there is indeed some true method to my madness. I hope so, if for no other reason than that it will annoy somebody.
