so yes.. Gala was definitely what i needed after being so let down friday night.. and just all the stress and frusturations lately of trying to find a job.. not a single call back yet.. its gone past depressing to insulting now..

but.. yes.. saturday was alot of fun.. despite the insane heat and humidity... i found the shoes i wanted.. (and wore them to gala)

gala was a good night out with people... nothing over the top comes to mind as happening.. at least that i can remember?

i feel sort of bad for bailing on plans for food before gala and for brunch after.. (especially after trying to convince people to come to brunch).. the alarm clock in my hotel room either was broken or just sucked.. i woke up at 3:45pm very confused why it was so bright.. and then i ran around my room making sure i had gathered everything.. Mneylu had a good idea to pack everything i could this morning before bed which i did.. somehow the hotel already had thought i was checked out.. which was cool.. (since checkout was supposed to be at 3 i was worried about being charged a penalty)

this time around i made damn sure i knew where the greyhound station is.. and i would never ever have found it on my own after the zoo trip.. i was certain it was.... south i think? of queen street.. (between queen and the water if that way is south) turns out i was quite wrong...
