well.. i certainly am glad gala is today.. (except for the fact it's 3:40am and i still need to do laundry and pack

today has been a very disappointing today.. there are some shoes i've wanted for quite awhile and i used gala as an excuse to buy them.. well i ordered them about 4 weeks ago from the local "gothy" shoe store.. and they still aren't in.. despite being told 2 weeks..

and that night we were hoping to start up again to dj.. yeah.. almost everyone that said they were coming out did not show.. i'm honestly not surprised given that crowd's track record.. but it still doesnt make the bar money...

so yea.. that night is cancelled yet again.. i'd sort of like the 3 hours back i spent this afternoon finding new music to play for people tonight


**edit** well.. i'm not really angry at people anymore.. after a nap it dawned on me that it's honestly what i expected from people.. i was foolishly hoping this time it might be different.. now why i havent learned from the other 6 times its happened to me that our night has been canned i'm not sure.

i'm also off to a great start for gala.. the bus i was going to take to toronto leaves town in about 2 minutes.. woke up about 15 minutes ago real and finally figured out why i had been playing the snooze button game for the last hour and a half..
