school feels a little better as it turns out i did manage to pass the test i thought i did horribly on.. and.. the teacher is re-working the marking scheme for us a bit (the test i just barely passed was counting as 20% of my final mark)

i'm still not overjoyed with the program.. but.. it's back to being tolerable.. mostly i've been distracting myself with halloween costume goodness.. and oh such goodness.. there are a few minor things to fix tomorrow/clean up (like all the chalk marks and stuff).. and i need to mount the skull on the staff.. and my newest costume of awesome is complete..

an interesting sidenote.. thin latex applications are tougher than you think.. hot glue didn't phase it at all..

i'm hoping people take lots of pictures as i only have a couple from my last costume of awesome.. it was a few years ago.. i have been remiss and slacking and am duly sorry.. i was a moogle.. i was furry.. i got really drunk and danced alot.. and lost about 15lbs that night.. this year i'm hoping to leave school early so i can be dressed up and wander downtown during the daylight (because there are times when i'm just that much of an attention whore).. also dj-ing 2 shows.. there's a metal show from 6-9 and then from 9:30 on we're having a burlesque/variety show...

at least tonight i have time for a 4 hour nap before school as opposed to the 2 or 3 i've been averaging.. i keep telling myself i can catch up on sleep in november.. (and don't remind myself that at least 4 major term projects are all due by the end of the month..)
