so.. my best friend from high school is now married... his bachelor party a couple of weeks ago was a good time.. just some of the guys (one of whom i had only briefly met once before).. nothing too wild and crazy and trevor isn't much of a bar partying kind of guy.. went to a couple places.. played some pool.. i showed off my drunken shot making skills (both pool and the drinking kind).. i've still got the knack of layering b-52's whilst rather intoxicated.. which makes me happy just because i'm a weirdo like that..

the rehersal party and wedding were also very fantastic times.. i sort of wish they could have put relationship feelings into focus.. but alas.. no such luck.. it just made me feel.. not really worse.. but.. not better? i don't know.. it was a strange feeling i can't quite put into words.. sort of like it feels like it would never be me in that place.. but part of me already kind of knew and accepted that i don't see a traditional wedding in my life..

i keep thinking of that scene in the wedding singer when he sings the "i want to grow old with you" song.. i love/hate that song because i'm a dork/freak.
