so.. hmm.. what's new? my job keeps getting worse and worse.. on our new schedule now we're down to 30 minutes for lunch.. that was something i absolutely hated about the last call center i worked in as it's just enough time to cram some food into your mouth, choke it down and log back in.. i like to taste and enjoy food.. the one upside of this is that it eliminates me eating out pretty much anywhere except grabbing a sandwich or something from the coffee place across the hall so i'm saving money.. i've pretty much almost walked out everyday since i started on video repair 2 weeks ago..
i saw vnv nation with and one a couple weeks ago at the Docks.. it was fantastic.. went with *girl* and another friend.. i'm no longer a sushi virgin (or is it sashemi when it's been cooked?) on the whole i've been trying to eat a little better.. i keep getting better at this as i seem to backslide less and less..
on saturday i was bartending at my best friend from high school's stag and doe.. it was a blast.. i saw a bunch of people i hadn't seen since either high school or when i was in university for that mistake of a year.. it was kind of amazing seeing how much people had and yet hadn't changed.. i also could never go back to living in a small town.. i had to run to the bank around 9:30 and walking the 2 blocks there and back i saw 1 car and 1 motorcyle.. at 9:30 at night on a saturday in the "downtown" (or.. 1 stop light intersection).. i keep hearing about people i went to school getting married and it keeps making me uncomfortable.. that's one of those major steps in growing up and getting old and settling down to a mundane existence.. (not that being married is boring.. but it's the path i see quite a few people i used to know following)
hopefully seeing skinny puppy in june.. going to try and pick up a ticket before work tomorrow..
