huzzah! they sort of resemble pants* now.
(these would be the pants i've worked at a half hour here, a half hour there for the last month or so..)
my body apparently decided i didn't need to sleep tonight so i traded in laying in bed being frusturated about being awake for being productive..
i just sort of wish i had more faith in myself while cutting out patterns.. (and that i'd paid attention and shortened the pant legs on the pattern like you're supposed to i just forgot to do..)
i think the seat of these pants hopefully won't make it look like i'm wearing depends.. *crosses his fingers* that's always the hardest part i find when i'm trying to make something is the crotch/seat of pants.. the seat because it's impossible to pull/tuck it so it fits properly and then pin it.. i'm not an octopus and i haven't found an easier way.. and fitting together the crotch in pants always feels like one of those 3-d puzzles.. but.. it more feels like doing one of those puzzles while you're drunk and/or stoned and missing a piece or three..
for those of you in london.. please remember.. Dark A~Wick~enings is tonight.. (and every wednesday) at the brunswick tavern.. (the Wick.. corner of york and talbot... across the street from the greyhound station).. cheap beer and even cheaper jagermeister shots.. come help me celebrate my new *sunday* night.. (i'm reserving judgement if i like my new shift/days off at work for a week or two..) why celebrate? why not?
it feels odd promoting an industrial music night considering i'm listening to songs from the hackers soundtrack..
