I know what you mean, but it can work against you, too. Someone made an offhand comment about me needing to change my look. At first I let it get to me, then I was like WTF? Meh. Oh well. Stay positive and do what you can to get over those fears.

I've only really gone to the Wreck'd Room in London. Every time I try to go to another bar, it has already closed down and another one has popped up somewhere else.
Last Saturday, I actually tried to go to Dissent, but they were closed (of course!) for electrical problems. Back to the Wreck'd Room it was. I'm thinking of trying Dissent again this Saturday and hopefully they will have fixed the place up by then.
