My weekend started off with working at the Ryan Adams show. It was incredible. I got there a bit early and found out I had my very own dressing room backstage...cool. I was given as much space as the opening band! So I set up my gear and chilled. The band bus pulls in and off the bus walks this guy I have known for a long ass time but havent seen in over 6 years. He is playing drums for Ryan. Way cool. I gave massages most of the band and their manager. , who by the way is really good friends with Michael Belkin who owns Germain Amphitheater where I have just put my resume in to do massage for the summer and he said he would get me the job cause I rock! So everything goes off without a hitch....Jon Stewart the comedian shows up back stage and parties with us after the show. He invites us all to this restaurant they are holding open for him and his entourage but I was having fun hanging with Brad the old friend from Nashville so we passed. At one point I was on the loading dock having a smoke with this guy who came in to the show with Jon Stewart. Oddly enough he was the production manager of Germain. So I end up giving him chair massage and he gives me the job I had sent my resume for last week! So any bands that want a massage girl...it will be me! Yippy! So I didn't even have to pull out the Michael Belkin contact thing at all. I have to say....I really do rock!
Saturday I spent on the sidewalk in front of HCX in the short north giving chair massage. I made a few good contacts for work. It was fun enough. By the end of the afternoon my arms were a bit tired from all the massage. I did a bunch of stretching and was in bed my 10pm. Sweet.....a seriously wonderful long night of rest.
Mothers day was sweet too. When I woke up my little girl had all the gifts she had made for me all lined up. She was so excited to give me things like a seedling carrot plant....I can kill that quicker then it will grow! lol. It was so sweet tho. I had 8 million things I should have been taking care of today, but I just spent the whole day with my sweetheart, eating out, playing in the park, it was fun. I am sooooo in love with the sweetest little princess in the world. I am so proud of the person she is. She is incredible
So now I must catch up on all that I havent done like cleaning and homework and cramming for exams.

lucky you! i wish i could have spent mother's day with my lil one. but that's like the busiest day of the year at the restaurant i work at and EVERYONE is required to work that day...booooooo.
