Blog Homework: Describe yourself using 3 fictional characters

So I have decided to finally do my homework, my parents would be so proud. Thank you @missy & @rambo for this topic, while I know it's a little late, it gave me a chance to explore this more.

First off, I cheated (I know, I'll be in detention later) a little and did some outsourcing and asked my daughter and best friend what they thought. So in no particular order... I give you the 3 fictional characters that describe me.

1. Stay Puft - I'm sure there's a fat joke to be had here but it's not why. I've actually had this comparison a few times, while the character was always different. Basically, I come across as big & scary on the outside, but once it comes down to it, I'm just a big gooey marshmallow. Which is true, like I said I hear this a lot, because I've been the typical nice guy and it usually ends up with my kindness being taken advantage of, so over the years I've developed this hard outer self (like a burnt marshmallow lol) that usually runs off the potential negative elements of my life, yet allows those who are sincere to see right through it.

2. Opie Winslow - So this one was suggested from my best friend, and at first I completely laughed at her because Opie is a total badass, and she agreed and said I can be too at times but the key reason is because of his loyalty. Fun fact; if you succeed at getting close to me, my loyalty truely has no limits. I will go to the ends of the earth and do unspeakable things for those few I consider "family", without question or hesitation. However, once you violate my trust and loyalty, you are dead to me, plain and simple, no bs, no drama, just gone.

Last but not least...

3. The Geek aka Anthony Micheal Hall in 16 Candles - The hopeless romantic, the geek, the dreamer, the ginger. I relate to him on so many levels, it's almost kind of sad LOL The more I look back at my life up to this point, the more I realize not much has changed either, I will always aspire to get the girl, to achieve the next dream or goal, never deny my geekiness and (some might consider most important) will always embrace my gingerhood. I learned not so long ago, that no matter how old you are, no matter how much a Geezer you are, it's never too late for anything, most of which I learned right here within the SG Community. So from me to all you, Thank you, you will never know how much all of this means to me or maybe you do because you share the same thoughts and feelings. Now before I break into song... I'll just leave you with an ear worm... Don't Stop Believing!
