I was at the Waffle House with deckwreck this evening, and we were trying to figure out some suitably awesome last minute Halloween costumes. I don't have the month it took to put together something as rad as my Aeon Flux of two years ago, so it's got to be easy. Our best idea thus far is to steal another friend of ours and be the Beastie Boys in their License to Ill era outfits (Thus far, I'm Ad-Rock, D's MCA). Others include Colonel Sanders and Wendy (his idea) and (here's me being a girl) Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca. But then I'd be impeding him if his lady interest is around. We shall see.
I could always try to come up with a costume that uses my new Most Prized Possessions:
Aren't they lovely, folks?
I added a $250 leather corset to my wishlist today***. Let's see if that's more successful than the $115 La Perla panties. Speaking of the wishlist, I've had some things show up on the list as purchased but that have never shown up. If you've sent something my way that I haven't mentioned receiving, please tell me, because if someone is stealing my mail, it's a problem best resolved with bludgeons.
Also, ownership of the NHS has finally been transferred to my homeboy Dogslife. Now you silly fuckers will have to deal with someone who is actually competent enough to reject people.
Also on the SG front, I realized that I haven't shot a set in almost a year. I'm full of ideas, but I can't decide if I want to go for a blatantly themed set (steampunk? Steve McQueen as a hot chick?) or just chill out in what I usually wear in a visually interesting and well-lit setting and be myself for a change.
Regardless of what I end up taking off, I'll probably wait until I've...serviced...my itch for more bodywork. "Omnia mutantur, nihil interit"* or "Nam et ipsa scientia potestas est,"** depending if I'm feeling more Ovidian or Baconian. Some scrolling. Smartly pretty things added to my ouroboros.
Other than that, there's not much to say besides that I'm loving this World Series. It's not so much that I love the Sox; it's that I fucking loathe the Yankees. It's better than rutting on a Sunday afternoon. Almost. But you know what's better than the Red Sox and even Barcelona S.C.? Having one of your favorite people ever show up again.

***Addendum: Which I just learned is not available for purchase through the wishlist function. Lame.

not that it really matters, but i'd go with "knowledge is power". it would take knowlege to figure it out in the first place so it's clever. plus i've always loved that quote anyway.
ps. sounds like you are a true sox fan, you loathe the yankees. i can't believe they have a chance at the title tonight. so stoked.
