By the time the year is up, everybody I know from growing up will have joined the site. Say hi to Munchx0r. She has a pirate tattoo.

I was trying to find that quote in Still Life with Woodpecker where Tom Robbins says something like that there are two kinds of people in the world: people who think there are two kinds of people and people who know better. But, for the life of me, I couldn't find it. It was going to precede one of those "there are two kinds of women in the world: the ones who want Cary Grant and the ones who want Robert Mitchum," but then I realized that I kind of wanted both of them, and that the whole premise was stupid anyway, and that Jimmy Stewart had to fit into that picture somewhere, and I like Humphrey Bogart and Lee Marvin better than the both of them, besides. Anyway, I hate it when you're looking for a quote and can't find it.

I really, really hate people who say, "it's not the heat; it's the humidity!" That's Ninth Circle of Hell right there.

robot Hey, check it out...a robot!

Are you sure that it's in there? Still Life with Woodpecker is a great book (my mom got me hooked on Robbins when I was eight or so - beat that), but I think it's from a different book.

Empirically speaking, I don't know if I was out of line. However, I do know that, since I don't know you at all, I don't really have the right to go throwing that type of remark around so flippantly, so I do apologize for stepping over the line there.

That particular word is an issue of great debate, I guess. Then again, they're just words, aren't they?

Whatever...I'll promptly fuck off now and leave you to enjoy the rest of your evening. For what it's worth, I've generally found your attitude on life, the universe and everything to be very refreshing.

Cheers.
