Chicago just rocks sometimes, only sometimes though. i went to the big city on saturday for a photo seminar in the morning. it was pretty good, but not worth more than the $50 i paid for it. i think i was the only person in their twenties there, with everyone else being decades older...like 40 years older!

i didn't realize it was right off michigan ave, so i did a little shopping after the seminar. then i trekked over to Penelope's. i recommend going there! they are the only store in the midwest that carries the Freitag bag. you should check out the site...you can customize your own bag with the materials...oh, i just can't explain it all...but you must check them out (do the F-cut). i got a couple cool shirts at Penelope's.

i really wanted to check out ikea quickly, but that usually means 3 instead of 6 hours. this is when chicago sucks... getting to ikea was a mess! it took an hour to go 25 miles. i finally got there, did some shopping quickly, and only hit the backs of 3 people with my cart, on accident of course!

but the shopping did not stop there...

today i went to Atomic Records, and got a couple cd's used. ended up with new Interpol, the last Oasis cd, The Donna's, and a great band from Sweden named Fireside. they are all great, and worth checking out, except maybe oasis.

i just need to get my monitor hooked up now. it has sat in my living room the whole weekend. i don't think my desk is big enough for it, let alone my 17" monitor as well. oh, times are so tough, when my biggest issue is where to put my huge new monitor. ok, its really not a problem, i have other problems i think about... like how to tell this beautiful girl that i like her, or how to understand that she has a boyfriend but never mentions him, or when to call her, or what to...

ugh.
