Im in the process of reading the zombie survival guide and i have to admit i think its having the same effect. I too want to find a group of like minded individuals and begin preparations for the impending zombie apocalypse (nerd fantasy or real problem that must be prepared for? heh)
If for no other reason than if youre prepared for the zombie apocalypse (worst possible survival situation) than you are at least prepared for every other lesser "catastrophe" like floods, fire, guerilla warfare, whatever.
Im really enjoying the book so far. About halfway through it.
