awesome day with the kid today. we went to a greenhouse out in the country run by a woman my mom is friends with. they had a small barnyard type zoo with all kinds of animals. the pot-belly pigs were hilarious.
i'm having a dilemma with my friend. we've been friends for years, i value his friendship a great deal. but he's involved with a 17 year old. he fucked her last night. she's the little sister of another friend. my friend has dated the two's oldest sister as well. (she's the same age) and she came off like she was border line retarded. seriously, there was something really wrong with that girl. his 25th birthday is next monday. i'm really disappointed in him. he got involved with her when he took her to her prom. she didn't have a date and someone (i think her mom) suggested my friend. since then they've been talking on the phone and yesterday her brother drove her to lawrence. (they live like 5 hours away in the fucking boonies) her brother is creepily okay with it. he said something along the lines of "if there's real love there then it's cool. -if not it won't last." and the very night before she was in town we were at the bar and he was trying to pick up on chicks. (his game is highly suspect)
one of things my friend has said is now he has a girl he's not ashamed to introduce to his parents. (the retard was the only real gf he's had, besides a few 1-2 night stands) when he said that it reminded me of something he'd said a few months ago about how he wanted a girl friend to introduce to his family- how his grandma made some remark teasing him about being gay. i don't think he's gay but if this is his reaction to what his grandma said...
anyway, i really have a problem with the whole thing. he's my homeboy. we've been good friends for so many years. but nothing will change the fact he fucked a 17 y/o. i don't want my daughter to ever know that my friends would do some shit like that. i almost don't want for her to be around him. which is lame because he used to be my roomate and he was really good with her. truth be told he my only friend- i mean that i hang out with outside of work or the bar or whatever. i'm really very disappointed in him.
