Yeah, I listened to the AN stuff before the first name change and just wasn't impressed at all. Then a lot of people I know started getting into them, so I went back and checked out their newer stuff to see if I had overlooked something, but I just didn't hear anything that moved me. What can I say, I'm a stubborn old man and I'm pretty hard on new bands, but it takes a LOT to impress me nowadays and they just never did it. I'm probably even harder on new bands when there's that much hype surrounding them. Then add in the fact that all the people I know who did like them all told me that when they met the kids in that band, they were all a bunch of pricks. I'm not judging anybody for liking them, I just don't see what the big deal is, myself.
