Man, Hurricains suck...
I was south and east of the eye as it moved (I was on the right handed side of it, you know the side that had all the rain and wind other than the eye itself).. it went by like 30 miles from me.. Had so much wind and rain that it was actually pushing the rain water through my windows. power went out at like 9:30 PM fri and didn't come back till today Tues at like 1130 am. So I spent the rest of the night in the dark trying to put towels around my windows to keep the water from trashing my walls and floor.... ugh
Almost 5 days no power and water because I don't have city water, I have a well so no power means no water.
My neighbors power came back on sat morning and they were nice enough to run like 600ft of extedtion cord to my fridge so I didn't lose my food. Had to use their pool water to flush my toilets..
SOOOOO happy they helped me in those ways..
My weekend sucked to say the least, but hey, I'm luckier than allot of people are south west, west and north of me.

What the Hell? Now Francis... 2 weeks after Charley.. And it's bee-lining for my county too!!!!!!!!!!
I must have really pissed off the guy with the hurricane magnet!!!!!!
9Sep.... just got back online...lost power, water, and phone until tuesdaynight... got DSL back today!!!
Oh and here comes hurricane #3 Ivan.....fucking A

Yeah, I was back for a week. I had some stuff I needed to take care of. Only good thing was haning out with my niece. Any way I'm home now.
