What a nice city counsel I have in this town. You know what happened today? right after I finished my shower, i then used the toilet. well, doing the usual "flush" when complete, I noticed it wan't refilling. That's odd, went to the sink, no water there either... ran to the front widow, and there ,driving away was the water guy, I'll refer to him as prick from now on, and in the yard was my water meter freshly tampered with. Yes folks , my water got shut off for being late on a $50 amount. That prick saw my truck in the drive way, and didn't even have the courtesy to ring the door bell 10 ft from the meter. What a fucking prick. Anyways, I got to the City hall, (that's where we pay our water bills in this town) and pollitly ak WTF? "Well flb0y, You're 2 weeks late on last months bill". "Well, you sent the guy out to shut it off, I was home, he clearly saw this, why didn't he ring the door bell and collect?" Well, We don't do that. It would be to much work." " Oh, and how many turn off's did he have today? " "15" Can you fucking believe that shit? A person has 8 hours to shut off 15 waters in a town that's 5 miles x 10 miles big, population of 35,000? And he was to "busy" to be polite enough to ring my fucking door bell to give me a chance? If you're like me, the next question is "why the fuck didn't you guys send me a warning in the mail?". "We did mr. flb0y". Well looks like good ol' f'd up USPS Fucked it again. The local post office constanly mixxes up my mail, little things like I keep getting my neighbor's W-2, Retirement check and stuff like that.
But the real reason is this- "that'll be $211.94 to turn it back on." After my eyes could refocus from the pain of my jaw hitting the floor I ask in a pollite manor" WTF?". "Well, That's $50 for the past due, $30 for the current, $25 for the reconnect fee, and the rest for a deposit of $106". "we won't turn the water back on till' it's paid" Now my jaw is split from the reimpact with the floor. I ask- " I've had an account with you for 7 years, I only got turned off once befor 5 years ago when I was laid off for 6 months, and you finally have just given the deposit back to me for being on time, Why do I need to deposit again?"

Does this sound legal to you guys? I now know why the guy didn't f'n ring the doorbell, i now know why I never get my bills from them reliably. In the case of my City Councel, or should I say Shitty Councel, It's very clear that they are out to get every penny they can to line their own pockets. And , they have the monopoly on the water here, so they get away with doing what they want. What a bunch of pricks. To top it all off, I now understand the Shitty of Titusville's motto - "A city of Service" the part they left out was "To Themselves".
I did learn something from this experience, I will not buy a hous ein this Shitty of Titusville. I will dod everything in my power to ensure not a penny of my taxxes go to them. I will be voting against every single one of them at next elections. I don't care who's running, they will get my vote.
