Annnnd I am off work for this whole week. Thank the gods. My boss is going to Bermuda with his entire family...and I mean his ENTIRE family. his mother paid for the whole cruise...for 23 of them. lol. He comes back thursday night, friday is the 4th, so I get to relax for a while...yayyyy.
My birthday was pretty decent. work sucked that day, but that's life. I wound up getting a new leatherman tool, Family Guy seasons 1-3, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, a haircut, a gift card for Lowes from my 18 month old nephew (by way of my sister and brother in law) with a request that I buy him (my nephew) something loud and/or sharp. lol. I told my sister to expect a circular saw in the mail sometime soon. ;-)
past that...my bed finally showed up today. it's...a very nice looking bed all things considered. 4 storage drawers, 2 doors on it, and the headboard is a bookcase...which I've started decorating with various crap I've had in my room up on other shelves for a while.
Dragon statue, tiny pirate chest, blue glitter lamp I won from dominating an arcade in LBI last weekend, a dozen or so books I've read recently, being held up by my adorable celtic skull bookends.
Now all I need is to find myself a decent comforter/bed set tomorrow when I start looking, and get my friend over so we can test the new bed out proper...*whistles innocently*
in other news...I bought a jolly roger fish, and a cheap-o pirate flag off amazon before. So now I can take the poster I got from the last harry potter book (that Buster took upon himself to tear in half...the little black furball that he is) and replace it with something slightly more fitting for my room...
