I am having a Murphy's Law kinda day...
First as I was leaving my house I thought to myself, "ah...I forgot my utility knife...but meh. I haven't used it really for anything but beveling PVC...I can go a day without it..." That of course leads me into getting a splinter in my favored finger on my left hand (middle naturally) in class...then as I was jumping down from my work station I put one that was both thicker, and longer, DEEPER than the first one. Luckily the second one was thick enough to cause it to sop up the blood it was spilling...
I cursed myself for not having my razor, and went instead to look for a set of needle nose pliers...which were not there. I instead found some Lineman's pliers (thick nose pliers) to attempt to pull out these miserable fucking splinters...the second one was my primary concern...because for one...it was fucking huge. about a half inch long, maybe an eighth of an inch thick.going right across my middle finger.pushed up the skin enough to bubble it a bit. about 40 minutes later of picking at it before I got them both.
Then I went to visit my friend at work today, as she mentioned that it was going to be her last day working at that store more or less...and she wasn't there. wasn't scheduled to work. lol...I felt brilliant.
I should have stayed in bed today.

Well, I already graduated with a double major in Soc and Psych. I really love Sociology. But alas, want a more active job! So in the fall I am starting Nursing! Yay for student debt!
