Big Fish is such an amazing movie! Very Rarely do I see a movie that I wish it would never end. OMG, it was sooooo feel good! Needless to say I just cried my eyes out at the end, but it was a good cry! Tim Burton is an amazing director. The score by Danny Elfman is pretty awesome too! Go see this movie!

1. I hate movies where terminal illness solves all problems.
2. Father and son didn't speak for several years because the dad refused to tell his son the "boring" real versions of things that happened -- what the hell kind of father would value telling whoppers over his relationship with his son? Dad's job is to do what's necessary to make his son feel unconditionally loved, right?
3. The basic message, a romantic lie is better than the boring truth, sounds like it came from Bush's press secretary when he describes the war in Iraq.
But I'm really a romantic guy at heart ... I tear up whenever I see Sonny pull up to the toll booth in The Godfather. Poor James Caan .... sigh. Sorry, I need a minute to compose myself.

Big Fish, eh? Never even heard of it, then again, I don't watch tv. I'll have to check it out, but only cuz you recomended it, and if it sux, you'll be held accountable, little girl...... Muahahahahaha (that's my evil Dom laugh - ferocious, aren't I?)
