Well, I'm all moved in. Everything is scattered around the house/garrage in boxes, but it's here. I've got some cool new furniture coming in the next couple of days. If you didn't know any better, you might mistake me for an actual adult when you came over.

It dawned on me today why I hate YUPPIE deer so much. YUPPIE deer are the rural equivalent to transients. They are always on the side of the road looking for a handout and they are constantly wandering out into traffic and getting run over just like transients. Had another dive mission for a drowning this week. When I found him, his left hand was frozen in a "flipping the bird" position. I don't think it was an intentional last act of defiance, but it sure made some interesting crime scene photos. I'll have to remember to try to die in that position myself if I can.

Good news about your house! Congrats! And yeah, I don't hate those yuppy deer so much as I hate the yuppies that feed them. You can't really blame the deer for doing what's easy. I love deer and stuff...I mean, they're cute, despite the whole stupid rats in pack thing they've got going on. But if one came into my yard, I wouldn't feed it. That's simply against the rules. To feed them doesn't help them so much as it messes up the natural order of things. Hey, I don't even feed the stray cats in my complex...despite the fact that I love cats. Stupid fucking yuppies.

Well, the sale is going through on my old house. When I told them they'd pissed me off and weren't getting anything else out of me, they caved and agreed to no money for repairs at closing. The new house is basically ready for move in except for a few minor cosmetics.
