soooo sleepy
The last 3 days have been crazy. "Cops" should have been riding out with me last weekend instead of next. Here are some of the highlights/lowlights: I got called to a house about two blocks from where I live. One of my neighbors shot himself in the head. His son found the body (asshole). The poor family blames themselves. A 15 year old kid (high as a kite) went off the road, rolled his truck, and drove off when it landed back on the tires. About an hour later, he drove into a telephone pole. This time he had to be taken out by Star Flight helicopter. He'll live long enough to regret it. His passenger was injured too, so he'll get felony Intoxication Assault. A rookie almost rear ended me running code. He wasn't paying attention and didn't see I jammed on my brakes to take a side street/short cut. He swerve, got back on the road, and we kept going. I had my car up over 130 mph 5 times in the past 3 days. I just ran from one call to the other all weekend. I went to bed at 6:00am today and the county attorneys office woke me up at 10:00 am to come to court. When I got there, they sent me home because the defendant took a plea bargain at the last minute.
Someone wants to trade me a nice looking Harley bobber/chopper for my rat rod...maybe...opinions?

CRAP Looks like today won't be any differant. I was just getting ready to go in, and one of our motor deputies, a friend of mine was just in a bad collision with another motorcycle. He's hurt but it doesnt' sound life threatening. The other motorcycle was stolen and sounds like on the wrong sid of the road.

So how come you're not patrolling on a bike? You have racing experience, I assume you've been through a racing school, I'd think they'd want you on a bike...
