Neapolitan Mastiffs are a rare breed-so rare in fact that when Bel Air was born, the breed wasn't recognized by the AKC. Thus, Bel Air has FSS papers. The AKC recognized the breed and took over last summer. However, the original FSS paperwork submitted for her didn't meet all the requirements that the AKC has, they won't give Bel Air or her puppies AKC papers. Since neos have large litters (8 to 10) is not uncommon, and they sell for $1500 to $2000 each for pet quality puppies, it's a significant disappointment.
I'm also annoyed about work last night. I was just about to go home when they asked me to come to the other end of the county and recover a gun out of a pool. It was cold last night, so I grabbed my wet suit gear and drove out there. When I arrived, there was a skimmer net near the pool that could reach it...they could have just used the net instead of keeping me out late for this BS.
