Damn it! Foiled again!
We had to go down and get new department IDs since we got a new sheriff. We can have the photos taken in our civvies, so I went down there with my hair in full pompadour, as high and shiny as I could get it and I was wearing a shirt with flames on the collar.
It turns out they weren't retaking the photos; they were just issuing new IDs with the old photos that were already saved in the system...and I thought I was going to be a rebel and have a coll ID picture for the next four years.
