I went to Mike Blake's memorial service yesterday. They had held the funeral in St Louise on Friday.
It was very appproprite. It's the only time you'd ever see 100 tough looking tattooed people with tears in their eyes. There were peopel there I hadn't seen in many years and people I wan't even sure were still alive.
I'm not sure, but come to think of it, it may have been Mike who first called me Bad Cop. The service was good. It made it real for me. Untill I talked to his dad and sister, I could almost have hoped that it was some crazy rumer that got out of control.

You ought to try a modern Guzzi sometime. My 1998 California has Brembo Goldline brakes, same as on Ducati's mid-performance bikes, and she stops NOW. Definitely down on power compared to your VMax, but the handling is impressive.
