I still do not understand

How Suicide girls are chosen, yes I mean I have read the blog where they state how but it still baffles me. I have seen girls join and there first set goes pink, but I have yet to see them contribute anything to the SG community. I have made friends who have contributed here and willing to volunteer to travel to support the SG brand for years and have put in multiple sets and still they do not get chosen. One girl has left the site all together and the other has reduced their status to member and just given up on becoming an SG because she believes she isn't what they are looking for?

That brings up the question "What are the staff looking for?" cause to me it certainly doesnt look like they want someone that will represent SG and what it stands for, but rather a certain style maybe?

I have been around Sg for a while even before I became a member and I have seen SG turn and turn again. SGs have been forcefully removed and I have seen quite a few just up and leave because of these changes.

It really broke my heart to hear this girl tell me "Guess I am not what they are looking for", I always thought Sg was created for girls that wanted to break the status quo of modeling. It didn't matter if they were too tall or short or skinny or curvey. The sad thing is, this girl has been a member of this community and has always been active since 2008. I know she has put in at least 3 photosets. It is sad to see that her long commitment to SG and willingness to support their belief in alt modeling were all for nothing. Yet I have seen a slew of models that have joined in the last few months to the last year achieve the title of SG. I saw one girl post in almost ever topic there is about her first set that got released and maybe thats why she got it and not the others. Because they were willing to spam in topics that didn't have anything to do with her set while the other girls made a comment here or there but wanted their set to speak for itself and their sets were wonderful.

Not many people read my blogs and thats alright, I just needed to vent because it breaks my heart to see where SG is going, and I know there are probably things that are happening at HQ that we are not privy of but nothing has been stated that I have seen to deter that train of thinking.

I hope I do not start an uproar and get myself banned for this line of thinking or blog, but I do think it must be said.

Also I will not reveal the names of the girls I have refrenced because I know they would not allow me to give them this sort of credit.

I think that no one knows how they decide who becomes official.

Part of the problem is there are just so many hopefuls now I think. There's an average of 5-15 hopefuls who go pink each month (according to a recent staff comment), but it seems to me like that average is probably typically on the way lower side. There's a reason girls want to be SGs - they're elite. If anyone could be pink the allure wouldn't be so strong.  That said, I agree. I know a few hopefuls who have amazing sets out - they are stunning, they have the SG 'look'... But they aren't very active in groups or don't comment much on the site outside of posting sets. I understand why those girls aren't pink. But then there are the ones who ARE involved, are stunning, have beautiful sets, and it is confusing. How can they not be pink already?? On the other hand, rarely do I see a set of the day that I think didn't deserve to be front page. So maybe the problem is just having more quality sets than days in the year. I don't know what I would do if I were in charge of picking.
